Election Ramifications

Please let us not for get the major ramifications of this election. The next president will be making at least one, if not more, selections for the Supreme court. The decisions of the justices will shape the laws of the country for far more than 4 years. A conservative supreme court will be the worst possible scenario for the future of constitutionally adhearant decisions. The next president will also have a long road in instilling faith and goodwill back into the minds of our allies and to forge good relations with adversaries. We need a statesman. Someone who will renew the global conception of the strength and economic prowess of America. This is vital to reshaping and revitalizing our economy.

This is NOT a christian nation. The constitution is very clear in the definition of separation of church and state. Fundementalists are poisoning our political processes by infusing dogma and religious setiment into the laws of the country. We must not allow tolerance to become a detriment. Anyone who tries to infuse politics with religion must be reprimanded. There is clear call for this separation and it must be inforced. There is certainly freedom of speech. This must be protected as well. We cannot any longer tolerate those who would blur the lines between ethics which should be guided by laws and morality which should not be touched by law and are a personal decision. Religiously based laws need to be removed from our country, state and local codes. Morality should be taught through family and religion, not by law. Education without demonization and propaganda needs to be encouraged.

We must elect officials who are constitutionally adhearant. We must elect gaurdians of freedom. We must reform archaic laws which limit ones personal freedoms through enforcement of religious morality and do not encourage the common good. We must no longer tolerate extremisim that is infecting the government. We have a voice. We need to speak loudly. Your freedom of religion does not give you the right to impinge on mine. It is time to gather together and remind our leaders of their duty. It is time to make the laws of our country sensible. It is time to remove the cancer of religious fanaticsism from the delicate tissue of our democaracy. It is time to lead the world into a free future. One that is governed in justice for all and ensures our personal freedoms. It is neccesary to take a broad, long term, global view of our policies. It is time to accept the rights of all persons under the care of the constitution and shape ourselves to the greatest possible good.

Use your voice. Demand separation. Challenge those who are tolerant of fanaticisism. Discuss this with those who will listen. Open the floodgates of change.
Keep your religion. Protect our freedom. Embrace my America.
